We offer Historical Tours, Sunset Cruises, Family Outings, Corporate Groups, Realtor Showings and Custom Events.

This private (only your group up to 10 passengers) includes a two hour cruise aboard a 2020 Manitou triton around Lake James & Snow Lake. You’ll learn about the history of the lake and might even encounter sea planes, natural wildlife, stunning real estate and hear about some of the residents that call this area home.

We offer shorter after dinner cruises with pickup from The 6 on James depending on availability. We can also arrange longer half day trips for your group. Prices vary. Please contact the Captain to Book

Reservations
All reservations booked online are considered tentative until you receive an email confirmation that your tour has been booked and payment received. Reservations must be made at least 1 hour prior to the tour. If you’d like to schedule a tour less than 1 hour prior to time, please call (260) 333-9500.
Pick Up & Drop Off Locations
For private tours, we offer pick up/drop off at the following locations on the lake:
Potawatomi Inn Beach Dock @ Pokagon State Park, The 6 on James (by bridge/dock), The Lakeshack on Snow Lake, or a Custom Pickup Location (we may be able to pick you up from your airbnb/vrbo in some cases – must be arranged with Captain prior to your tour).
Payment
We accept all major credit cards.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance prior to the tour date, can be rescheduled or issued a refund. Please note that any refunds issued will be less 6% of the total transaction to cover the credit card processing fees associated with the original booking and the fees associated with processing the refund.
If you cancel less than 72 hours before tour – we will do our best to reschedule your tour, but if it cannot be rescheduled due to our availability, inclement weather, or any other reason, you are responsible for the full price of the tour and a refund will not be given.
Late Arrival Policy
All Tours must arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time to go over boat information and safety info. We will wait for late arrivals, however, we will return at the scheduled return time.
Damage & Cleaning Policy
We always try to provide a clean and safe tour for our passengers. In keeping with this policy, we ask that our passengers respect our boat and rules at all times. Please be advised that any damage to the boat or excessive messes caused by negligence will be charged to the passenger. Excessive cleaning fee $100.
Weather Policy
We always watch the weather closely. If rain, thunderstorms, lightning, etc are in sight or forecasted, you will be notified and offered a raincheck. Please never assume your tour is cancelled.

Passenger Rules
Always listen to the captain for your safety.
No food permitted on board.
Drinks – BYOB, No Glass. All drinks brought on board must be aluminum cans or in plastic cups. For smaller children, please bring a cup with a lid. You may bring a cooler and ice to keep your beverages cold. No hard liquor shots, jello, pudding or otherwise. Ice and beverages can be purchased at the Corner Landing if they are open during your tour. There are a few spots on the lake where drinks may be purchased. Just ask the captain.
No smoking or tobacco products.
All passengers must remain seated while the boat is moving.
Passengers shall not dispose of any trash or litter in the lake.
Inappropriate behavior, as determined by the captain, will result in the passenger being dropped off at the nearest public location on the lake and the passengers fee will be forfeited and nonrefundable. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to: extreme intoxication, excessive noise, public urination/vomiting, foul language or gestures, causing damage to the boat or not listening to the captain.
It is the passengers responsibility to comply with all laws or ordinances while on the boat. Passenger agrees that any information obtained while on the tour will not be used to directly or indirectly engage in any business that competes with Lake James Tour Co..
Should Lake James Tour Co. or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees to enforce this agreement, passenger agrees to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees.
Assumption of risk/release of liability waiver will be required to be signed by each passenger or their guardian (if under 18) prior to the tour.
